For Keeps

This Instagram carousel is my heart's scrapbook. These have been my ride-or-die friends since grade school, through thick braces and thin. Each picture in this carousel is packed with lots of memories, a tiny time capsule overflowing with fun and games. This was taken during our freshman years. We were so young and free. Mow, our second year, has cast a grown-up spell on us, scattering our schedules like confetti. Although we are all at the same university, we never get to see each other at all. But even when we don't always get to see each other, our friendship remains strong. We talk online, share silly memes, and dream of future adventures, even though I know deep down that it won't literally happen. Sometimes, when the college blues hit hard, I look into these carousels and reminisce about everything. It's a reminder that even when life throws curveballs, these friends will always be my sunshine on a cloudy day. And hey, who knows? Maybe one day soon, our schedules will align and we'll be back to our old laughter-filled moments. Until then, this carousel stays on my favorites list, a constant reminder that true friendship is a treasure worth more than any million. And to my amazing friends? You guys rock! I miss you tons, but know that even when miles (or just bad Wi-Fi) keep us apart, my heart's always with you.
