Entrepreneurial Journey

In our entrepreneurial subject, we are tasked, by group, to make a venture proposal for our business start-up. I did not expect in this subject that we will have to make a business start-up. I thought it would be just an easy task, but after our instructor discussed how to start a business and instructed us the things we had to do, I found the task difficult to get done. First, we had to do interviews for us to figure out what will be our product, but before that, we had to make a set of questions, every member of the group had to interview 8 people. After we did our interviews, we discussed the products we had come up in mind based on the results of our interviews. So the product we decided was an organic pesticide for rice plants. 

As we were doing the task I realized that it is not easy to start a business, you have so many things to consider. Before, I thought it was easy, but now that I have learned more about business, my thoughts about business will not be the same as what I thought it was before. One of the lessons that I have learned is that when you are going to start a business, it is important to look for a product or service that is helpful or useful to the consumer. Another is to look for a solution to the problem that most people have in a community. If ever I want to start my own business in the future, the lessons I learned from this subject would be helpful.
